Congratulations to Su Yati Eain from Singapore International School: RVi Academy Yangon and Makhawan Wiriya from Varee Chiangmai School won the champions of Myanmar and Thailand respectively in the Grand Finals of the Mic Up! English Speaking Competition Thailand 2023. This competition is in conjunction with the 21st Century English Speaking Competition and the Belt and Road Youth English Competition. The winners will participate in the international grand final competition which is expected to be held in October in China. 
We are privileged to have Mr. Robert Chua, retired Singapore Ambassador to Myanmar, as our special guest to present awards to our winners.
Mr. Ian Robinson, our judge from the United Kingdom said: “The Mic Up! English Speaking English Competition Thailand 2023 is not only a competition, but also an opportunity for cooperation, and reflecting the core values the Belt and Road Initiative conveys. All students are ready to be citizens of the world. They will try their best to overcome cultural barriers and contribute to building a better world.”
